Abstract: Even though they have been studied for over a hundred years, the Rogers-Ramanujan identities are still of great interest today (there is even a connection to the 1998 Nobel prize in physics!). I will survey some of the recent developments related to the study of Rogers-Ramanujan-type identities and also discuss problems still to be solved.
